my daughter was stopped on the express way due to traffic. At the time, she drove a small car. A man in a pickup truck ran into the back of her because he was texting and not paying attention to the stopped traffice. He totaled her car. If my granddaughters had been in the back seat, they would have been killed. She was hurt and out of work for 3 months which caused a huge hardship. #itcanwait

No text is worth the risk of taking someones live . before you texting and driving think about what would happen if you hit someone and how their family would feel and how you feel if it happened to you . its a very serious thing right now and we need to get it to stop before more and more kids/adults gets killed or hurt . i am pledging because alot of kids at my school and on the hwy that ive seen die cause they think a text is more important but its not . a humans live is more important than a little text . if its important they can call you . NO TEXT IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN A HUMANS LIVE :/ . #itcanwait

Put your social life on hold while you drive and focus on the road. As I drive down the freeway i see cars swerving and as I pull up next to them, low and behold theyre looking down and up with something in their lap. Very sickening that people could be so selfish. It can wait people. seriously. #itcanwait
